How can I customise the images?
The Asset Bank also has the options to allow you to customise the resolution, size, file format of one or more of your images before they are downloaded. This will save you time making changes to images in a graphics package after you have downloaded them. By choosing the advanced option, this will give you the largest size we have of the respective image.
The customisation options are shown on both the Asset Page and also in the Download Folder so you are able to make changes whichever way you choose to download images. Simply make the changes you require using the various pull-down menus and then click 'Download' when you are ready.
Note that, for most users, the image width defaults to 300 pixels wide. You can increase this width but if you make the width wider than the original image then the system will automatically show this maximum. The same applies to changes to the height. The 'aspect ratio' of each image is fixed so any changes to an images width will affect the height in direct proportion and vice versa.
